Innovation on the fast track: A day of inspiration at inepro HQ

On October 9th, we had the pleasure of welcoming a select group of partners from our Metering and ID (RFID Reader) verticals to the inepro Headquarters in the Netherlands for an inspiring day themed “Innovation on the fast track.”

With registrations coming from across Europe, the event was an excellent opportunity to connect, share ideas, and explore what lies ahead for inepro and our markets. All within a warm and informal setting.

A day of inspiration and insight

After a short, welcoming opening by our CEO, Jeroen Pynenburg, the day began with an inspirational keynote from Inge Bogerd and Torben Aalbers of the Brunel Solar Team. This remarkable group of students shared their journey of taking a year off to design and race a solar car in Australia or South Africa. A story filled with innovation, fun, highlights, setbacks, and resilience. Their enthusiasm and authenticity captivated the audience, sparking many questions and lively discussions.

The program continued with Jelle van den Berg and Remco Zinkweg, who shared inepro’s vision for the future. They presented our roadmap, upcoming innovations, and the emerging trends shaping both the ID and metering markets. Their presentation provided a clear and exciting look at how inepro is driving progress and empowering its partners in both industries.

After a delicious lunch, Cees-Jan Bevers and Varun Manwani (Sahasra) led an insightful session on doing business in India. They challenged a few common assumptions and offered a fresh perspective on the country’s strengths, highlighting its dynamic economy, growing opportunities, and evolving political landscape.

From ideas to action

In the afternoon, participants split into smaller groups to take part in interactive idea pit stops. The ID partners explored practical applications and live demonstrations of our RFID reader technologies, while the metering partners joined sessions featuring our new GROW series, the ongoing trend toward miniaturisation, the introduction of our Tunkia solution, and an engaging discussion on what the “meter of the future” might look like.

A fun and festive finish

To close the day, the friendly competitive spirit came alive during our F1 simulator race. Congratulations to our winners Leroy Schepers (1st), Ben McKean (2nd) and Kai Smith (3rd), who proudly took home their trophies and Dutch cheese packages.

The event concluded with drinks and good conversation, as guests reflected on the day’s sessions and what lies ahead for inepro and its partners.

Thank you

‘It was great to meet up with so many key partners during this event. inepro can only thrive if our partners are successful. They are the first to witness new trends and help us push the boundaries and drive innovation. We can’t do it by ourselves!’ – Remco Zinkweg, Director inepro Metering

A heartfelt thank-you to all our participants, speakers, and partners who made this event such a success. Your enthusiasm, engagement, and ideas are what keep innovation on the fast track. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
